Nobody Checks the Floor

Nobody Checks the Floor

Physics runs its framework until the framework breaks, then patches it rather than questioning the premise underneath. Scripture states that premise on page one.

Watch what happens when a serious model breaks. There are two moves available. Question the floor the model stands on, or add a term.

Almost nobody questions the floor.

The Patches

Galaxy rotation does not match the gravity of the matter we can see, so we name the gap dark matter. The expansion of the universe is accelerating when it should be slowing, so we name that dark energy. Together they account for about ninety five percent of the universe, and both are named after our own ignorance of them. That is not a discovery. It is a placeholder with a good title.

Run general relativity into a black hole and it returns infinity. Run it back to the first instant and it returns infinity again. An infinity is not a measurement. It is the model announcing that it has stopped describing anything. Quantum field theory hits the same wall and handles it by subtracting the infinities off, a procedure its own founders admitted they could not justify.

Then the constants. Move several of them by a fraction of a percent and nothing forms. No stars, no chemistry, no observers. The standard answer is to posit unlimited unobservable universes so that ours stops being remarkable.

The predictions still land to a dozen decimal places, so the work is not sloppy. But look at the move. Add a term. Add a field. Add a universe. Never touch the premise underneath, which is that this order explains itself and closes on its own.

It does not close. It never has.

Two

Why the Floor Stays Untouched

This is not an intelligence failure. They can see the wall.

Checking the floor costs something that patching does not. Patch the model and you keep authorship. The framework is yours, the career is yours, the whole house still stands on ground you laid. Check the floor and find that it was given to you, and you are not the author anymore. You are a tenant.

That price does not get paid by reasoning. Proverbs files it somewhere else entirely:

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice. — Proverbs 12:15

The fool there is not the man who lacks data. He is the man who has it and will not revise. That is a moral condition, which is why credentials are no defense against it.

Three

What Is Already Written Down

The first sentence of the Bible states the premise physics keeps proving and refusing. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. This order had a start. It does not hold itself up. Everything follows from that. There is a boundary. There is an order past it. The One past it is not simply further out on the same axis, because heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain him. Contact across that boundary is real, it comes from his side, and it costs something.

The same architecture shows up in cubits in the one building God supplied the blueprints for: a boundary, a threshold, an appointed place of contact, and a price to hold the way open. The Temple series works through it measurement by measurement.

So the two frameworks do not contradict each other. One of them spent four centuries and enormous expense deriving the outline of what the other published on page one.

Nobody works off what is already written. It is free, it is older than the science, and it is the one source not allowed in the room.

Four

Not Being a Fool

Moving your floor takes no new argument and no better education. It takes looking down, and then saying out loud that what you were standing on will not hold.

No one reasons his way onto a foundation. Foundations are not conclusions. They are what conclusions get drawn from. You get shown one, and then you accept it or you go back to patching. A physicist and a bricklayer get that choice on identical terms.

The equations can tell you that a way between two orders would cost more than anyone could pay. They are honest that far. They cannot tell you what the book says next.

The price was paid. The door is open. It opened from the other side.
